Product Review: The Ideal Items for Relief from POTS Symptoms
Here I've decided to review some of the products that I believe helped me the most after my POTS diagnosis. I've put together these items for POTS patients to provide some relief to symptoms in addition to the more mainstream POTS items. This could also serve as a care package if a loved one has been diagnosed and you want to help show them some support.

#1: Medical Medium: Celery Juice
Medical Medium: Celery juice provides a good explanation of how it can be beneficial for not only POTS, but also for common issues such as IBS and gut health. Celery juice has recently gained popularity as a health tonic with various purported benefits, but there is limited scientific evidence specifically on its effects on Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Celery juice has benefited my POTS symptoms I believe due to its hydration and electrolyte content. This book explains in more detail how celery juice can benefit a wide array of medical issues and definitely is worth checking out.
#2: Nutribullet Juicer
The Nutribullet Juicer is ideal for juicing celery. It is powerful and is easy to clean. Using the Nutribullet Juicer with celery improved my POTS symptoms. Proper hydration is essential for maintaining blood volume and preventing symptoms of orthostatic intolerance, such as dizziness and lightheadedness.
#3: Blood Pressure Cuff
The blood pressure readings helped me in monitoring my POTS symptoms. Blood pressure readings can provide valuable information about the autonomic dysfunction and orthostatic intolerance experienced by individuals with POTS. Monitoring blood pressure changes in response to changes in posture, activity, and other factors can help manage POTS effectively, and it helps tailor treatment strategies to individual circumstances.

Hydration Products, such as LiquidIV, help maintain hydration and electrolyte balance, which is essential for managing symptoms of POTS, especially in individuals prone to dehydration due to excessive sweating.
#5: Dry Brush
I recommend this dry brush, especially before a salt bath with Epsom salt. Dry brushing can potentially benefit POTS patients by stimulating blood flow and lymphatic circulation by promoting vasodilation and increasing lymphatic drainage. It can reduce symptoms of orthostatic intolerance such as dizziness and lightheadedness. Dry brushing also may stimulate sensory nerves in the skin, which could potentially modulate autonomic nervous system function, but not enough is known about this to give a certain scientific explanation as to why.
#6: Weighted Blanket
After my diagnosis with POTS a weighted blanked helped improve my sleep quality through deep pressure stimulation. Weighted blankets have been shown to promote deeper, more restful sleep by increasing serotonin and melatonin levels and reducing levels of cortisol, the stress hormone. Weighted blankets have gained popularity for their potential therapeutic benefits in various conditions, including anxiety, insomnia, and sensory processing disorders. The gentle, evenly distributed pressure from a weighted blanket may help individuals with POTS feel more grounded and stable.
#7: Compression Stockings
Compressing stockings can help improve blood circulation and prevent blood pooling in the lower extremities, reducing symptoms of orthostatic intolerance such as dizziness and lightheadedness.
